Stocks & Shares ISAs

STOCKS & SHARES ISAS

Stocks and shares ISAs are a tax-efficient way to put savings into a range of different investments. Anyone in the UK that is 18 or over can start saving into a stocks and shares ISA. Savings can be invested in government bonds and corporate bonds, open-ended investment companies (Oeics), investment trusts, and unit trusts. Holders of stocks and shares ISAs can receive tax-free dividend payments from their ISA. Though the age limit to start a stocks and shares ISA is higher than that of a cash ISA, parents and grandparents may invest in Junior ISAs on behalf of their children, or grandchildren. Junior ISAs are available as cash and stocks and shares ISAs also; but they can only be accessed by the child that they were opened for, once the child is at least 18 years’ old. There is a broad choice of stocks and shares ISAs on the market. Choosing the right one, does depend heavily on what suits your lifestyle and future life-stage choices. Our investment experts can guide you through a range of options and help you to make confident financial decisions.

How we consult with you

When you meet our expert investment advisors, they will assess your existing income including pensions where relevant, cash flow requirements and your future financial aims. We will consider your attitude to risk, and what your requirements are regarding accessing funds should you need to. We understand that you will want to study investment options. Your current life-stage and future plans form an important part of our analysis. We will bench-mark and time-line your financial plans with you.

We will make recommendations after consulting with you. We will consider all of your existing investments, ISA and investments structure, assets and savings, as well as income sources. This is to ensure that all of your investments are managed in the most tax-efficient and productive way. We may advise you to move your money from certain investments if they are underperforming. We can explain how you can put an investment plan into action; or do it for you. After conducting extensive due diligence; we have selected reliable partners; who understand the needs of our clients just as we do.

Once your plan is underway; we will put in place a structured review process. We will update you regularly to check that your plan is still heading in the right direction and that your lifestyle and needs have not changed. If you experience any significant life changes such as redundancy, retirement, marriage, divorce, or the birth of a child; we will automatically update the investment plan.

If you are looking for access to the whole marketplace, attention to detail, confidentiality and a professional and personal approach, then I have no hesitation in recommending Hamish and other members of his team as your one-stop financial support team.
